I have now been testing out PrizeRebel for less than one week and would like to share both mine and some of my friends experience with the site. The site offers many different options with everything from Amazon gift cards, eBay gift cards, gaming cards, cash options and much more. For this report we picked using Amazon gift cards.
I must say when I first found the site I was being really skeptical, was this a legit site or one that just try to scam you? Anyways after some short reading about the site from a few different sources including forums about known scams, the PrizeRebel site credentials and such I decided to give the site a shot.
When it comes to Amazon Gift Cards, PrizeRebel offers deals of 500 points in order to get a $5 gift card, for me it took roughly 3 hours to gain my first card. In the 3 hours I did not complete any of the surveys where they wanted to get my home address or phone number, since I still was not trusting PrizeRebel or the other sites they offered points through. All in all it took less than 2 days for the $5 Amazon Gift Card to be credited to my PrizeRebel account.
I now would give some general advice that would save you a lot of time browsing through the PrizeRebel site and its other offer sites. Now bear in mind many of the surveys are going to offer you to complete other surveys, which would not credit you with points from PrizeRebel. And Others again are going to be straight to the point, quick easy and simple to complete within just a few simple multiple choose answers. Most of them would ask for a valid e-mail address, so I would suggest you give them one that you don't mind becoming flooded with all the offers, info-letters, recipes, jokes and so on that you are going to sing up for as part of earning points.
Here are some of the offers what I found worked best for me,
CheapFlights which offers you 5 points for each time you follow their instructions for completing a simple flight and/or hotel search you can complete this offer 3 times in the day you find it, it will then have one day cool down period before you can use it again. This offer is totally free and you do not need to buy any tickets or do reservations. Be creative and do a few searches for dream vacations and see what pops up.
Free Surveys, for this category it is important to stay away from those that in the test states in order to complete this survey you have to do one or more of their offers during the survey, each of these will almost always require you to do another survey, which might again require you to do more surveys getting you stuck in a ever going loop, which in the end often ends up being something you might not be able to complete since the secondary offer you picked turned out to not be a free offer at all. Spending lots of your time, and not giving you the promised points at all. Also be truthful, just picking answers at random will not get you very far and would most likely cost you to miss out on the points in the end.
Now if you feel like you need a break, switch to the PrizeRebel external offers for a while they have a section there for video offers, of most give you 1-3 points each, these often only require you to sit back, relax and watch the full video, and then complete it by liking it on Facebook, or play their short interactive game. This is a great way to get a break from the high pointed surveys, and then return for more of them either in the external offers section or back in the PrizeRebel main list.
Other general information, remember to read the PrizeRebel rules of conduct, so you avoid problems down the road, for instant you are only allowed to have one PrizeRebel account for one household, so if your spouse or child is interested in doing a few surveys for their pocket money let them use your account and agree on letting them have the gaming card they wanted when they earned it. Rather than having them make one and end up getting both you and themselves banned and points wiped for being at breach with the PrizeRebel rules. PrizeRebel also offers point bonuses if you "refer a friend" giving you 20% bonus points for each points your referred friend makes for themselves.
